Barnabas Imenger a former Super Eagles star is dead.
The footballer, who died of a protracted illness in National Hospital Abuja on Monday morning, was a Super Eagles striker in the Mid 90s.
Until his death, Barnaba Imenger served as the Manager of Lobi Stars, Makurdi that plays in the Nigerian Professional Football League.
Confirming the incidence to Newsmen, Austin Tyowua, Media Officer of the team, said it was quite unfortunate that the team had lost a rare gem and described the death as a great loss to the Nigerian football.
Imenger was also part of the Super Eagles team that played at the 1995 FIFA Confederation Cup in Saudi Arabia.
